ROOF is ON!!

There were a couple of nice days this week, between days of rain, sleet, snow and mud. Our contractor grabbed the chance and assembled our SIP-paneled cabin!

Here are the roof panels going on... notice how thick they are? The SIPs for the roof are 12" thick, for an R value of over 50. Toasty!

Voila!

Next will be some exterior wrapping, placing windows and doors, shingles, exterior board and batten siding, and finishing the interior... but all of that will take many months.
The best and most exciting part is finally, really done! Our cabin's got a roof!
